The Yangzte NC Non-compliant Balloon Catheter is a suitable option for all angioplasties, including use at distal and heavily calcified lesions.  Specific indications include use prior to deployment of a drug coated balloon to enhance drug absorption of the active substance against the vessel wall.  It can also be used for stent Proximal Optimisation Technique (POT) and for post stent dilatation, to optimise strut apposition and encourage optimal absorption of the active substance from a drug eluting stent.
